Barbara Gottlieb, Executive Director


Barbara grew up in White Plains, New York, a suburb of New York City. She attended White Plains High School and chose to go directly to work prior to attending college. After working several years in hospital and physician offices, she chose to attend Iona College in New Rochelle, New York where she received her bachelor's degree in health administration. She received a Master of Public Health degree from Yale University. Barbara spent the next 30 years of her professional life in senior living. Her heart is always with the residents, families and staff that surround her daily. Barbara’s 29-year-old daughter Carolyn, recently married to Alan Schrenkengost, is a practicing attorney in Florida. She is also the mother to Chewy and Cheesecake, her two small dogs. Barb enjoys dancing, skiing, bicycling, cooking, reading and traveling.

Kellie Ricci, Marketing Director


Kellie cares deeply for people and wanted to be part of a community that makes a difference in people’s lives. Her marketing and sales experience in commercial retail leasing, real estate and home loans translates well to the senior living industry. Kellie graduated from Cal State San Bernardino with a B.A. Degree in Political Science and a minor in Pre-Law. Kellie’s spirituality helps guide her compassion for our residents. In her spare time, Kellie enjoys camping, travel, reading, and caring for her family.

Kimberly Whyte, Assisted Living Manager


Kimberly has more than 11 years of project management and leadership experience in specialized resident care. The catalyst for Kimberly’s senior care career was her mother’s dementia diagnosis. Kimberly maintains a safe and inviting environment while delivering engaging experiences and providing exceptional customer service. She earned her bachelor’s from the University of Phoenix. Kimberly also has her Administrators license and is a Designated Licensed Support Group Facilitator.

Ericka Mattson, Administrative Assistant


Ericka has 15 plus years of administrative experience in various fields including custom framing, child care and most importantly, assisted living. She was born in Sonora, Mexico where she grew up with her three sisters. Ericka is the proud mother of two boys, Scotty who is a U.S Air Force Airman, and Drew who is a very passionate young baseball player. When Ericka has downtime, she enjoys visiting with family. Ericka is thrilled to be part of the Legacy House of Southern Hills team and looks forward to serving you.

Amber Reynolds LPN, Resident Care Coordinator


Amber has over 16 years of healthcare experience in all facets of the healthcare industry. She has four children and takes great pride in making sure they are happy. Amber loves seniors and is extremely passionate about ensuring they receive the finest care. She pledges to instill our Personal Touch Culture values in her team members.

Cindy Herko, Dining Services Director


Cindy loves to create great dishes and baked goods for our residents. She grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and experienced the city’s transition from being a powerful steel hub to a national leader in the arts, in education and healthcare, as well as sports teams. Cindy imbodies her hometown’s resilience and creativeness. She is always busy with art projects and baking masterpieces for her friends and family.

Dee Foster, Recreation Director


Dee has been a certified activity director for 12 plus years. She lived in Chicopee, Massachusetts all her life before moving to Las Vegas. Her husband served in the Army for 42 years and they have four children, if you include her dog Charlie. She graduated from Holyoke Community College. Dee loves to dance, bowl, watch movies and spend time with her family. She is excited to be part of the “Dream Team” here at Legacy House of Southern Hills.

Donabelle Empeso, Housekeeping Supervisor


Donabelle was born and raised in the Philippines and moved to the United States when she was 18. She lived in Austin, Texas for 8 years before moving to Las Vegas. Donabelle has over 9 years of experience in long-term care. She has worked as a nursing assistant and medication technician in several types of healthcare facilities such as skilled nursing, home health care, and nursing homes. Donabelle loves taking care of seniors and giving them the excellent service that they deserve. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, cooking, hiking, and spending time with her family. Donabelle also enjoys travelling and experiencing different kinds of cultures.


John Campo, Maintenance Director


John has worked as a building engineer in a class A office building, a construction project manager and a maintenance director in a healthcare facility. He was born in Long Island, New York and moved to Las Vegas in 1988. John enjoys spending time with his wife, Donna, and their yellow lab, Allie. He also enjoys music and the arts. John is excited for the opportunity to be part of the opening team for Legacy House of Southern Hills.
