Dawn Zabroske, Executive Director
Dawn joined Legacy House of Southern Hills in May of 2021 and has a wide range of experience in the senior living industry. She’s originally from the great Sunshine State of Florida and before you ask, yes, she misses the beach! Dawn attended the University of South Florida. A month after graduating she accepted a position as a Social Services Assistant in a Nursing Home and thus began her career in HealthCare serving as a Social Services Director, Sales and Marketing Director, Assistant Administrator, and Executive Director. Dawn made the jump from Nursing Homes to Assisted Livings 8 years ago and never looked back. On a personal note, Dawn has 2 children, a son and daughter. They greatly enjoy traveling together and experiencing all that the West Coast has to offer.
Breigh Redding, Sales & Marketing Director
Breigh was born in New York, but has also lived all over the South. She moved to fabulous Las Vegas from Georgia in 2014, where she found her passion working with older adults working as a Recreation Director. Currently, as the Director of Sales & Marketing, Breigh loves being able to assist families making the transition from home to a senior living community, like Legacy House. The best reward is when they say, "I should have moved sooner!" When she’s not at the community, Breigh LOVES supporting her alma mater Auburn University, the Las Vegas Golden Knights (GO KNIGHTS GO!!), and her favorite band 311. Breigh's motto is "Stay Positive and Love Your Life!" Breigh feels blessed to be part of the Legacy House of Southern Hills family.
Tanell Woods, Assisted Living Coordinator
Tanell was born in Minnesota but later moved to Middletown, Ohio. Since her early teens, Tanell has worked as a caregiver, becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant in 2014. Always one to work hard and set goals, Tanell has aspirations to obtain a degree in health care administration. One of her proudest achievements is being the mother of a young son. When she is not at Legacy House serving residents and resident families, she especially enjoys traveling, and spending quality time with loved ones. Tanell is also an avid horseback rider, and hiker-enjoying the outdoors whenever she can.
Donabelle Empeso, Assistant AL Coordinator
Donabelle was born and raised in the Philippines and moved to the United States when she was 18. She lived in Austin, Texas for 8 years before moving to Las Vegas. Donabelle has over 9 years of experience in long-term care. She has worked as a nursing assistant and medication technician in several types of healthcare facilities such as skilled nursing, home health care, and nursing homes. Donabelle loves taking care of seniors and giving them the excellent service that they deserve. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, cooking, hiking, and spending time with her family. Donabelle also enjoys travelling and experiencing different kinds of cultures.
Donna Vega, Administrative Assistant
Donna was born and raised in Bloomfield, New Jersey. She moved to Las Vegas in 2004 with her son and four adorable pups that bring her so much joy! Her heart is happiest at the beach or at the pool where she can soak up the sun! Donna has always worked in healthcare before making the change to senior living in 2021. She is passionate about working with seniors and growing with the community.
Vaneta Pate LPN, Wellness Director
Vaneta was born in Illinois but later moved to Missouri and raised her children there. She graduated from Jefferson Community College. She’s worked in health care for 30 plus years in the following areas: skilled nursing, home health, correctional nursing, investigative nursing and as a traveling nurse for a few years. When she is not at Legacy House helping residents and resident families, she especially enjoys traveling, and spending quality time with her dog Milo.
Jerry Saenz, Dining Services Director
Jerry was born and raised in Southern California. He graduated from culinary school in 2007 and has been in the food industry ever since. Jerry started his career in assisted living as a cook in 2010 and was promoted to Dining Services Director 2 years later. His favorite part about working with seniors is the being able to put a smile on their faces with a meal that he or his team of cooks have created. When Jerry is not serving the residents of Legacy House, he enjoys spending time with his wife, 2 daughters, and dog Shadow. Jerry also enjoys golfing, basketball, and football. GO RAIDERS!!!
Steven Saenz, Recreation Director
Steven was born and raised in Southern California and resided there his entire life until moving to Southern Nevada in 2021. He attended St. Paul High School in Santa Fe Springs, where he played varsity basketball for 4 years before moving to Santa Barbara City College to finish playing there. After receiving an Associates degree from SBCC, he moved back to finish school at Azusa Pacific University, receiving a bachelor’s degree in Communications. Prior to moving to Nevada, Steven was a management assistant at some of the busiest Enterprise Rent-a-Car locations in the country, priding himself on providing the absolute best customer service with every interaction. Since working at Legacy House, that same pride and passion has taken on a whole new meaning with all the residents he comes to know. Steven’s entire professional career has been aimed to provide memories that people will cherish for a lifetime and to treat every relationship with compassion. When he isn’t working, Steven loves to listen to all genres of music, with quite the vinyl record collection that keeps on growing. He also loves to play and watch sports, including basketball, golf, and football. He loves spending time with his family and watching his two nieces grow up together. Steven looks forward to continuing the strong relationship with Legacy House and providing quality memories with everyone in the community.
Shawn Szczepkowski, Maintenance Director
Shawn was born and raised in Las Vegas. He joined the US Army as Heavy Equipment Operator at age 18, where he served from 2004-2007. Shawn has over ten years experience in home renovations and property management. He also has a degree in Culinary Sciences and Restaurant Management. Shawn and his wife enjoy spending time with nieces and nephews, but especially with their own "fur baby", Cash the Coonhound. When he isn't working, Shawn and his wife enjoy traveling and the outdoors. Traveling to every National Park in the US tops his bucket list. Shawn is also an avid fan of the Vegas Golden Knights hockey team. Shawn is excited to be part of the Legacy House of Southern Hills team.
